Topic: nothing deep
saw the Mets play tonight…they stunk it up.
saw War of the Worlds…pretty blah.
realizing more and more how amazing my parents are…as people and the skills they have. i associate my house w/ amazing food, and my parents are out of town, and suddenly, i realize how much of my mom’s talent for food i don’t have. then…a small piece broke off the air conditioner, and i realize how much of my dad’s talent for fixing things i don’t have. i’m gonna have to find a girl w/ many talents whose willing to pick up the slack for me, bit time.

yeah. i just want the girl with loads of money a solid career job (and a desire to travel). i could be a stay at home dad and take care of the food and a/c. i suppose we look for the gifts we don’t have to complete what we’d like.
Or (in my case) we look for someone who’s lacking in the same areas, hoping to find someone who understands who we are and won’t ask us to be who we’re not. There are pros and cons to either way.
