The Dan Revolution:
Phase 1 – recognize that most of what I’ve been taught has been either wrong or incomplete
Phase 2 – search out some form of truth
Phase 3 – recognize that previous forms of truth, the media, school, are structured to either distort or omit the truth
Phase 4 – uncover new forms of media and learning

Also, has anyone seen the movie, “Weopons of Mass Deception?” I know it’s only out in a few cities…

have not seen the movie yet but this is critical taking the media on like this…something we have to hold to task…
I think the best way to learn what is truly happening in Iraq is through the Iraqis themselves, namely Iraqi bloggers. The Carnival of the Liberated over at Dean’s World provides a good weekly roundup, although he tends to focus on the bad news, so perhaps you want to read the blogs themselves.
And indymedia? Really? The people who publicized the 100,000 dead number, claimed saddam’s statue falling was a hoax, claimed saddam was never really caught, subsequently claimed he was trotted out at a politically expedient time. And the abuses go on and on and on
