  • Topic: Who said it?

“What kind of peace do we seek? I am talking about a genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living. Not merely peace in our time, but peace in all time. Our problems are man-made, therefore they can be solved by man. For in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet, we all breathe the same air, we all cherish our children’s future, and we are all mortal.”

  • I give up. Who said it?

Would you mind sharing the title of that book you read with me? My daughter loves books. In fact, we went to the library today and both girls brought home an arm load each. They wanted far more books than they could carry. Andrea doesn’t like to read them herself yet, but she will sit for hours while I read them, or listening to them on CD. As long as she loves stories, and nonfiction too (she will listen to either equally raptly), I think things are going well.

But I’d love to get my hands on that story because Andrea is an artist who hates to read.

  • Don’t know who said it, but it remains a mystery why such obvious truth
    is ignored by so many.

  • President John F. Kennedy ?

  • you guess it…JFK
